Having a memorial plan in advance is ideal, but not everyone has had the opportunity to prepare for it. This is why HPPEMC introduced The HPP Life Plan — a special cooperative assistance program designed to help members and their dependents during these unexpected moments.

How The HPP Life Plan Works

HPPEMC has acquired several St. Peter Life Plans that members and their dependents may avail of when the need arises.

As many families discover, arranging a memorial service at the time of need (at-need) can be considerably more expensive than purchasing a memorial plan in advance (pre-need). The difference can be substantial.

Through this program, HPPEMC allows members to use one of its existing St. Peter Life Plans for their immediate memorial service requirements.

In exchange, the member simply purchases and replaces the same St. Peter Plan at its prevailing pre-need price through HPPEMC.

This arrangement allows the family to proceed with the necessary memorial services without having to purchase a plan at the considerably higher at-need price. It also ensures that HPPEMC maintains an available inventory of plans for other members who may need assistance in the future.

Simply put, The HPP Life Plan gives members access to a ready memorial plan when they need one, without having to pay the higher at-need price.

How to Avail

2. Choose your preferred service. HPPEMC will coordinate with St. Peter Chapels to obtain the current pre-need price of the applicable plan:

   • St. George Plan – Traditional memorial service

   • St. James Plan – Cremation

3. Receive the quotation. HPPEMC will inform you of the prevailing pre-need price of your selected plan.

4. Settle the payment. Once you decide to proceed, pay HPPEMC directly the quoted pre-need price.

5. Receive the plan. HPPEMC will arrange the transfer or assignment of one of its existing St. Peter Plans for your use.

6. Coordinate with St. Peter Chapels. St. Peter's representatives will get in touch with you to discuss the details and arrangements for the service.

7. Proceed with the arrangements. St. Peter Chapels will take over the service arrangements and may commence the necessary services while you complete the required documentation.
