HPPECC has been accepted as a member-owner of 1CISP (1 Cooperative Insurance System of the Philippines). Soon, HPPECC will be able to offer various insurance products available to all 1CISP member coops. Motor Vehicle and Fire Insurance, among others, will be made available to HPPECC coop members at lower than market rates. This is because, being a cooperative federation, 1CISP is tax-free and is able to extend the savings on VAT, doc stamps, etc., to all its members.
1CISP has been in the insurance business for 45 years and is the largest cooperative insurance organization in the Philippines today. In 2018, it has been identified as one of the top 10 fastest growing insurance cooperatives in the world by the International Cooperative and Mutual Insurance Federation. With more than 2000 cooperative members, 1CISP is expecting to continue its double-digit growth in the next five years. Truly, a fitting role model and "big brother" for HPPECC.

As mandated by the bylaws, the new set of Board of Directors met on Aprill 10, 2019 and elected among themselves Johann Molo and Kathryn Salangsang-Garcia as Chairperson and Vice Chairperson, respectively.
Furthermore, the Board has appointed the following as officers and committee members:

Credit Committee
Membership Committee
Mediation and Conciliation
Education Committee
Ethics Committee
Gender and Diversity Committee
Special Projects Committee
They will join the following Election and Audit Committees previously elected by the General Assembly:

All of the above elected/appointed positions will serve for a term of one year or until such time that their replacements have been named.
We wish to thank everyone who attended our 5th Annual General Assembly Meeting on March 27, 2019 which, for the first time, was held both at IPC and ETON.
